Wow, what a day it was. It seems we've come a long way since last year,
when we managed to get 6 teams competing in the first corporate tournament.
Today we had twelve teams out - well over a hundred people playing for the
coveted titles, with lawyers, programmers, consultants, bankers, civil
servants, charity workers and engineers all getting in on the action.
Particularly impressive was Ove Arup's fielding of two teams.

As is becoming familiar, the final was played out between dunnhumby and
Stacks and Switches, but to make matters a little more interesting, Stacks
had joined forces with Grant Thornton to give dunnhumby a bit more of a
challenge. Unfortunately it wasn't enough, with dunnhumby coasting to
victory. Special mention should go to OvaThrow, with their teams finishing
third and fourth.

In the spirit stakes, HSBC's team, Disc Drive, took first place while in the
plate final, Sapient took the prize with victory over Institutional
InDISCipline.

Thanks to all the captains for sorting out teams, and all the beginners for
giving it their all - I hope that they enjoyed it, and that we've converted
a few of them....

See you for the next one - watch this space for details! Full results below
