A few days to go some last minute info.
1) CAPTAINS MEETING
0845 - First games 0915. Please ensure a representative of your team is
there to find out any last minute info.
2) CAR SHARING
London is not known for the enormous amounts of space to park your car.
This is made slightly worse byt he venue on Saturday also having a
netball game in the morning. Therefore please car share as far as
possible. Also the public transport to the venue is good do take
advantage particularly if you are form London (means you can drink at
the party). See UKU website for details.
3) TRAFFIC
There are some roadworks in the near area (On the A2 the other major
trunk route from London to Kent) Therefore traffic may be increased.
Allow a little extra time to come in to the ground. The venue will be
open form 0800 both days so if no traffic the venue will still be open.
4) PUBLIC SITE
Finally the site is open to the public so be careful with your stuff.
Leave little on display in the car preferably nothing. The area is not
noted for crime but prevention is better than cure. Also if anyone asks
about the game and you have a spare 5 mins do tell them. This may
encourage more to take up this great game.
