At the Tournament:
* Party in Rumny Rugby Club (5 minutes walk from the club house).
* Camping (Friday/Saturday)
* Food during the day: There will be a variety of healthy food
and also bacon butties for sale at the venue (there are no
supermarkets near the venue).
* Evening meal (tickets in advance)
Accommodation:
If you are not planning on camping, you should try to book your
accommodation as soon as possible, as there's some big football event
on the same weekend in Cardiff. Uni accommodation may be available
through UWIC
(£25 per single room), details to follow shortly. Otherwise, Newport
might be a better option, but
make sure you go to Newport Wales, not the one in Shropshire!
Party:
The party will be held a short stumble from the campsite and pitches.
The theme for the party is alcohol and music. Get ready for a night
of carefully selected tunes picked out especially to suit the
ultimate dancing community. There'll be a blend of Funky disco,
cheesy pop, air guitar classics and of course some handbag house.
Evening meal
There is not a great choice of local restaurants, so on Saturday
night, we will be providing an evening meal in Rumny Rugby Club (the
party venue) for £6 per person. This is mainly for the convenience of
the people camping. We can only do this for a maximum of
200 people, this will be done on a first come basis. Meal tickets
will only be available in advance.
If you want to buy meal tickets, please do so as a team, and send a
cheque (asap) for the full amount, stating the amount of meat meals
and the amount of vegetarian meals you require.
We have asked for large quantities of healthy food!
