1. Nobody (*) actually reads/learns the rules, so they could be crystal clear and it still would not matter. 2. (*) if you do know the rules, they say (probably!) that there should be a stall count of ten (10) seconds. Not in any game I have played recently. See 1. 3. The reason for having the, perhaps misnomered, ‘delay of game’ rule is so that an offensive player is not able to stand over the disc waiting to see if a team mate makes a good cut, thereby increasing the length of time they have to make a pass (perhaps to as long as 10 seconds!). 4. There should be WAY more criticism of teams/players that do not enter tournaments on time and yet still expect a place, or drop out, or do not have the proper kit, or fail to pay membership fees (ok, so an easier payment system would help), or do not use the bins provided, or leave their boots/kit/tent/waterproofs/ceramic hair straighteners(#) at the event. And less of the people who devote their time (and not inconsiderable intellect) to helping these events happen. (#)<http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/ukuw/message/419> Jaimie
