Great nationals I guess, quite an early start though. Don't get me wrong I'm
not whingeing, I mean I guess it's necessary to avoid playing back-to-back
games. I wonder how many people would have preferred not getting up at silly
o'clock to play though. You can't please everyone with the timetable, that's
for sure, but I have a feeling that many of the teams in Mansfield would have
played their 5 games at later times if there had been a way (eg agreeing with
their opposition to delay the start and use one of the free pitches on that
huge empty field).
I hope this email doesn't sound negative, it's been a fantastic season of
Ultimate, with enjoyable, competitive games throughout the levels of teams. The
organisers and schedule writers have done us proud for a largely thankless
task, so thanks!
