Given the intense interest in this subject I thought it would be useful to let people know as quickly as possible. Whilst Britdisc is not really the most appropriate method for doing this, it is probably the quickest. Please pass this email on to team mates that will be interested but are not on britdisc. The next Member Update will also include this information - but we try not to bombard people with those too often and the next one isn't due for a few weeks. On the split season: 1. Thanks to everyone that got involved: both in terms of gathering information and responding to the survey, etc. 2. The very quick summary is that the decision was to maintain the Split season in 2007 (Mixed then Open/Women as in 2006) - but that there would be an Open (and possibly Womens, TBD) Tour Seeding/Qualifier tournament (excluding some top teams) very early in the outdoor season to address some of the concerns that had been raised about the split. 3. PLEASE CHECK THE MINUTES FOR A MORE COMPLETE SUMMARY OF THE CONVERSATION AND MAIN POINTS OF CONCERN.
