Lovers of the disc, and of the beach BULA released some free tools that might be helpful to anyone playing (Beach) Ultimate in the UK.
First of all, and this is interesting for people organize a tournament (beach or grass) we have created a 22-page sponsorship document. It shows Tournament Directors what they can expect from sponsorship and gives ideas on what you can offer sponsors: http://www.beachultimate.org/blog/2006/12/sponsorship.html Next, we created a Google (Beach Ultimate) map where we would like everyone to add their tournament as well as any place where there is a pickup game. The URL is: http://beachultimate.org/map/. Sandbanks is already added but I know there is more Beach Ultimate in your island ;-). So if you are involved in any Beach Ultimate in the UK, add your info. I am sure it will help you get more players. Lastly we created free downloadable posters and handouts that you can use to promote Beach Ultimate locally. We made them available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French in order to help Beach Ultimate worldwide.
