Discophilia are holding their second indoor tournament in Exeter. The
Discophilia Indoor Open is well.......... an open indoor tournament.
Everyone is welcome to enter. So far we have 5 teams entered including
two from France. Any one who came to the IRON five event knows that the
Exeter tournaments are a bit of fun, but I had a few things I wanted to
improve on from last time and I think I have.
What's got better?
* I have investigated, emailed and bartered with the Devon Schools
Badminton Club to have the hall for both days (they had it Sunday
morning last time).
* This time we are going to a venue near the centre of the city for
the party. Its very popular with the students.
* We have a tournament meal for up to 7 teams (the venue is quite
small but I am reassured very good) @ £10 per person, all you can eat.
* I am not using that spirit scoring system.
What am I not doing from Iron five?
* I can not provide accommodation on floors or any other way this
time, sorry. If you go to the website however; there are some
suggestions for cheaper B&Bs and a hostel near the city centre and
with in 2 miles of the sports hall.

* £115. but Im buying 5 hours more pitch time for both pitches.

What else is there?
* There will be a tournament meal in an Oriental All You Can Eat
Buffet (its proper classy) as well as the party,
* The meal will cost £10 per person but places are limited. Just
confirm the number of players you want to bring to the meal when
you send me a cheque and I will let you that you have a space or not
* The Party, Well ok we're going to go to the local night club. Its
quite good though, all the students go there, a lot so I hear.
