Dear Britdisc, Here at Warwick Bears we are organising a great 30th Year (see previous emails about our awesome anniversary ball). At the same time we are hosting an outdoor tournament in aid of Cancer Research UK. All proceeds will be donated straight to them.
We will be hosting this tournament on the weekend of 30th June, 1st July 2007. There is space for 19 teams and one pick up team where you can pay an individual player fee if you can't find a team to play with (how nice are we?!). We're sorting out all kinds of great stuff planned, not to mention the great Ultimate that you'll be playing but also bands, DJs, competitions (Hack and an accuracy competition), water-sponge-stocks, food stalls and a great party like you expect from Warwick. We're also setting up a photography service where if you'd be interested in buying some photos of yourself playing we'll send some of our photo team to your games and then put all their photos on a website for you to peruse and buy. Lets not forget that all proceeds go to Cancer Research UK. We've only had interest from 3 teams so far, so please please email us if you are interested.
