Greetings Europe, and apologies for cross-posting,

I am putting together a bid for a team to play at the celebrated Potlatch
tournament near Seattle (June 30/July 1), and would be very happy to hear from
anyone in Europe that would help to make this a truly international team.

Potlatch has great drawing power and attracts many bids. I've never been, but
I've heard from plenty of players who have, and highly recommended it.
Theoretically we could fill the team with willing locals, but I am sure that a
team predominantly made up of European or European-based players would be
certain to get in. The basis of the team will be Mother Tongue players, mainly
because two of us are flying to the west coast for a wedding, and a handful of
others are already there, having moved back after a spell in Europe. A couple
of other MT players are considering flying, but the more the merrier.

Details about Potlatch can be found on http://potlatch.discnw.org/. It's
Mixed, by the way, so obviously any replies from women will be enthusiastically
received. The deadline to get a list of names together is April 18, so I'll
need to know at least a few days before then. No financial commitment
necessary yet, just a show of hands.

If you want to know about Mother Tongue, the team for native English speakers
who live in Germany, our website is available for your delectation and delight
at http://mt.htmlco.de/. We play the odd fun tourney in Europe too, so if you
fit our profile, or know some recently moved to Germany (specifically) or
Europe (in general), then please get in touch.

See you on the field!
Wayne
(a Brit living in Frankfurt, playing in Costa Brava with Jika-Majika, and in
Rimini with Team 42, so come and say hi!)
