on the rules page (linked below) appendix B defines a Female player as:
"Any player who is determined to be female according to the current
International Olympic Committee regulations."
made me chuckle... I googled it but couldn't find these definitions
online... does anyone know how to define a player as "female"?
Before I had gender realignment surgery to become a man I found this page
helpful. Interestingly, the IOC is pretty much only interested in defining
what was female, and would tacitly accept pretty much anyone (-thing?) as
male. Women, as always, are held to higher standards than men! Despite
this there is a building consensus that chaps who've been chopped can chip
in with the chicks.
