12.3.1. If momentum causes a player to touch an out-of-bounds area after
catching the disc in-bounds, the player is considered inbounds. That players
puts the disc into play at the spot on the Field of Play closest to where
they first crossed the Perimeter Line.

Which I understand to be C, though I guess your pivot foot should be the
pitch side of the Perimeter Line...

If we're being completely anal, it's neither 'foot on the line' nor 'foot to the pitch-side of the line'. Technically, the rules imply that you should have the smallest possible amount of your pivot point in the field of play, so you want to be on the line, but with a quarter of a toe inside the pitch. Being either completely inside the line (when coming back in), or on the line but not touching the pitch, would be a travel.

A simple rule of thumb - if they're sufficiently far from where you think the pivot point should be that it affects your ability to force/poach/position yourself downfield, then call travel. Otherwise, who cares...
