Hey all,
Just a random thought from a player who has played for soooo long he needs
to say something........
Spirit of the Game is all subjective as far as I am concerned....... and
that's how it should be really!!
Spirit to me has always been about the enjoyment of the game and playing it
with that in mind.
So therefore spirit is ALWAYS (to me) about the most enjoyable game you have
played in a tournament and not just by the fact your team won. (Some of the
most enjoyable games i have ever played are when the team i have been with
has lost.)
And in the light of Copa Cabana coming up this weekend I would personally
urge ALL teams to remember why they first started playing.........
It's not about glory or winning the coveted trophy that all tournaments
offer for winning...... It's all about ENJOYING the sport we all love.
