Not wishing to labour a point and sound like the most boring man on
earth but can we PLEASE try and text the spirit and game scores in after
each game? Or report them personally?

We've got a phone that will be used at other UKUA tournaments so stick
the number in your phone and USE IT! Or send someone across with your
details if you prefer. Having been a captain I know this is the sort of
thing I forget to do, so please try. I think it will make things run
much more smoothly and will solve this whole spirit issue. Don't do what
I do which is wait till the end of the day and then go "Who did we play
first again? What was the score?"

Do call if you have run out of water or if you have a problem. It was
good at tour 1 to get a call if we had missed a pitch or something and
we could get water there within a few minutes. Just let me know.

I will be there Friday night. Come find me or call if you have a
problem.

Dan.

Subject: [BD] Nationals Update

There is a player info pack on the National events page on the UKUA
website
here:
http://www.ukultimate.com/system/files/Nationals-ECUR-W+Player+Info+Pack
+v1.pdf

There is also an annotated google map of the site*:

A schedule will be out on Thursday 30th - I'll just say we had a few
issues with teams dropping out...

Summary of info you need:
1. There is NO captains meeting - but both Dan and I will be around and
available on Saturday morning. Each team gets a disc and a pile of
information - so please check in with us to receive that stuff.
2. All the info you need is in the Info Pack - we may add a few updates
over the next 48 hours - and will provide printouts to the team captains
on Sat morning.
3. The venue is open to the public - so take care with your possessions.
4. ALL OPEN TEAMS PLAY at 9am on Saturday EXCEPT Clapham 1 and Chevron.
For further details see final schedule - available later today.
4b. PROVISIONALLY (waiting for confirmation on a question about seeding)
the women's teams playing at 9am are Leeds, Bristol, MU, Discuits. For
further details and final confirmation, see final schedule - available
later today.
Leeds and Bristol will not be affected by the seeding question - they
are def. playing at 9am.
5. Food and drink available onsite - supermarket and fast food available
nearby.
6. Physio and First aid onsite
7. Text game results and SOTG scores for each opponent to "results
phone"
(number in player pack). You can deliver by hand if you prefer of
course.
8. Using BULA system for scoring SOTG - it is specific about how to
award scores.
9. Directions for arriving by car and public transport are in player
pack.
There is plenty of parking space at this venue.
10. The Harlequins rugby fields (all four of them) are out of bounds but
not roped off. Please respect these fields. There is lots of space to
warm-up on the extension field (on the other side of the trees).

Please email or call if you have any questions.
