PICNIC Presents- Southern University Women's Indoor Regionals
Hi there!
It's that time of year again. It's time for us ladies to prove ourselves on the
pitch and just as importantly prove ourselves at the bar and on the dance
floor! Bring on the fun competition on court and off. If you dare to take on
the 3 pint challenge you may win a prize so you better get practising on your
sucking skills. To redeem us from our drunkenness we thought a LBD (Little
Black Dress) theme would be nice for a 'classy' social. For any guys coming to
support you, dresses are optional (we won't judge those who do choose to wear
them...) or they can just smarten up with a shirt.
Now we've dealt with the important stuff, here's the boring bit.
When is it? Tournament dates are Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th of November
starting at 9am both days. The play schedule can be arranged so that teams can
start at 12 if they are travelling down on the Saturday morning.
Where is it? The tournament is being held at Marjons University College,
Plymouth. More details will be given in the Captains Pack.
Transport: Marjons is not near the centre of Plymouth so own transport is
essential. For those of you who don't have your own transport we can sort out
lifts but there will be a small charge to cover petrol costs.
Accommodation: There are plenty of lovely Picnic players who are willing to
give up their floor space for you to sleep (or do whatever...) on the Friday
and Saturday night. Let us know numbers and vehicles asap so we can sort out
appropriate accommodation.
Cost: £120 per team. If more than 14 teams enter this will drop to £110. We
will reimburse teams post tournament if this is the case.

we need to know by Wednesday 14th of November at the latest. The sooner we
know, the sooner so we can get things rolling. Please e-mail me (George) at

know if you are entering and for any queries you may have. It is only 3 weeks
away, so don't delay!!!!
I know that Picnickers are really excited this year, we have had a large number
of girls joining the club and the standard has been high and we can't wait to
get out there and show the guys what we are made of!
Hopefully you are as up for it as we are and I look forward to seeing you in 3
weeks.
