'Fire of London' are recruiting players for the 2008 season. We are looking to build a strong and committed squad to challenge for EUCS (Nationals) and EUCF 2008, with the UKUA Tour as valuable preparation. We also want to build a strong core of players to work towards EUCC 09 and WUGC10. If you are interested in being part of this, read on… (1) Play at the London Winter League with Fire Instead of official trials, we are inviting potential squad members to play with Fire in the London Winter League. It's a great chance for you to play alongside some of the current Fire squad and for us to see you play in a competitive situation against different opposition. The dates for winter league are: Sunday 18 November 2007 Sunday 9 December 2007 Sunday 13 January 2008 Sunday 10 February 2008 These events are being held on Wimbledon Common where Nationals were staged this year. (2) Play at our 3 on 3 'mini' tournament We are also running a 3 on 3 'mini' tournament on the 12th of January (the day before the winter league), where potential squad members will be teamed up with current Fire players. Not only will this be a lot of fun, but it's the perfect opportunity to show us what you can do. (3) If you are interested... Please also include the following information: · Ultimate-playing experience (clubs etc) · Address, · Anything that might limit your availability for practices (including mid week evening practices) and tournaments. We are looking for players with: · Commitment to practice, fitness and tournaments · Enthusiasm and willingness to learn · Potential for improvement · Athleticism If you meet these criteria, even if you have limited experience, take a chance, and come along!
