All LLL women will be having open tryouts for the 2008 season in January. LLL will be aiming to build on their success of 2007 where we won the UK Tour, came runners up at Nationals/Wonderful Copenhagen and came home with bronze from EUCF in Basel. Tryouts will take place at the Rugby Academy in Kirkstall, Leeds on the following weekends: Saturday January 12th, 19th, 26th and February 2nd from 11am-2pm. After these sessions we will pick a squad of between 18-22 for the season. Selection will be based on both playing ability and importantly commitment to training (weekly until the end of the tour then with a break till August when we'll build to Nationals and EUCF) and tournaments (a minimum of Tour 0, the Tour, Nationals and hopefully EUCF).
