All This is the last call for people interested in the Women's Skills Day to be run next Sunday February 17th in Leeds.
We have now confirmed a venue - Kirkstall Rugby Pitches in Leeds. I have provided a postcode and some directions below. Start time: 11am Finish time: 4pm (with a short break for lunch!) Cost: £2 per person to cover pitch costs The skills day is generally for less experienced players/teams looking for an opportunity to work on their individual skills and/or get new ideas for strategies/drills etc to implement at your own practices/with your team. The best place to park is the Morrisons car park and walk past the Rugby Academy and over the road to the pitches. The post code for the Morrisons is: LS5 3RP I have also included some directions from the Rugby Academy website which direct to the Morrisons complex. DIRECTIONS TO LEEDS RUGBY ACADEMY, KIRKSTALL >From motorways and Leeds City Centre: Take M621 - Leave at junction 2, signposted Headingley Stadium. Follow the A643 (A58) Wetherby road - at the next roundabout take the City Centre/Wetherby A58 exit. Almost immediately, bear left to Ilkley (A65) and the airport. At the lights (TGI Friday is on the left), turn left into Kirkstall Road A65. Go straight on for about .75 mile (Yorkshire Television is on the right). There is a sign at the traffic lights showing "Headingley 1.5 miles." Go straight on at these lights under the viaduct. You will pass the Warner Village on your left, carry on for 1 mile until you come to a major set of lights for the Kir k stall Shopping Complex. Turn left into the complex and then left at the next set of lights. >From North Leeds and A1 Wetherby: The Rugby Academy is situated off the A65 Kirkstall Road. From North Leeds take the Outer Ring Road towards Horsforth. Eventually you will come to a large roundabout with a Burger King on the left hand side. Turn left here signposted A65 Kirkstall. Continue along this road for 3 miles past Kirkstall Abbey on the right hand side. At the major set of lights turn right into the Kirkstall Shopping Complex.
