Hi all Nice Bristols are helping to run the Ultimate event at the inaugural West of England Business Games on the weekend of 21/22 June - see below for information and links. The Ultimate event will be on the Sunday.
Events include: Touch rugby Ultimate (grass, 7 aside) Football Volleyball Hockey Tennis and more It's a non Tour weekend so please spread the word and get a work team together to take part in the competition - since it's a corporate thing you may even get work to pay! A bit of info from the website http://www.trytime.org.uk/woebg.htm : Ranging from the beach to the playing field, the weekend of June 20th to June 22nd, will see various locations in Weston-super-Mare host the first ever Business Games. The 2008 Business Games is a wholly community affair, which sees a network of local sports clubs, organisations coming together to place their expertise in running their own sports tournaments underneath an umbrella of a 14 event multi sport event. Added to that the use of excellent facilities provided free of charge, professional entertainment companies providing a wide range of social activities and this weekend in Weston, is promising to be a big one! It provides an ultimate away day experience for staff whilst helping to raise up to £25,000 for charity and local sport. So, whatever your field of business, whatever your town, or country are you ready to prove who is best on and off the field? THE HIGHLIGHTS: 16 events planned; no restrictions on how many you can take part in Aiming to raise around £25,000 for charity and Local sports clubs. Free entry to Friday nights' beach opening ceremony and evening drinks reception. Each participant receives souvenirs and up to £13,000s worth of personal rewards. Plus one stick of rock with 'Weston-super-Mare' written right through it. Cost to the sports events is only £25 per person per event. Each individual event has details of minimum and maximum team entries. A weekend with your mates at the seaside, what more could you ask for?
