Hi EuroDisc (please be so kind and forward to the national distribution
lists),

on http://www.eucs.efdf.org/ you can find information about the European
Ultimate Championship Series 2008.

Please, have a closer look to the new eligibility rules (
http://www.eucs.efdf.org/2008/eligibility.html), which have been made a bit
softer to be able to integrate also the Qualifiers (e.g. national
championship) into the EUCS and really have all EFDF sanctioned
tournamentsin one Europe
-wide Championship!

We also tried to answer some typical questions in the FAQs section (
http://www.eucs.efdf.org/2008/faq.html).

If you don't find an answer to some of your doubts, do not hesitate to
contact us directly: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

In the next days we'll also update the web with the information about the *
EUCRs*, which haven't been already published and about the *EUCF2008* as
well as the regional *bid distribution in the women division*.

Ciao

*Betreff:* [ED] EUCC in 2009 & EUCS 2008

 Hi EuroDisc,

sorry for been silent for a long time, but we (Champions Series Committee)
have been really working hard in the background for the past 4 months.

We are now _almost_ ready to publish on www.eucs.efdf.org the results of our
work.

   - we have been intensively discussing how to improve the *Eligibility
Rule*, which in 2008 was treating teams in different ways. we made it
fairer and a bit looser, so that every team fulfilling the actual criteria,
won't have any troubles with the new ones
   - we have almost completed the bid assignment for the *EUCF 2008*. This
takes time because the TD and the CSC want to offer you a really top quality
   event for an acceptable price.
   - we have reduced from 12 to 8 the number of *women teams accessing the
EUCF*. This requires a new distribution of the regional bids, which is in
   progress.
   - we have also thought a lot about the *EUCC2009* and how this
could/should cope with the EUCS. We still need to formalize some points, but
a first concept is going to be approved soon.
A call for bids for the EUCC2009 should be sent out by EFDF very soon. As
far as I know there is no bidder yet, but we do hope to have many good
   candidates to choose among!!!

So, please, just give us an other couple of weeks time and we'll be able to
answer in details all your questions.

thanks and ciao

Subject: [ED] EUCC in 2009 ?

I saw on the EFDF forum one question about the EUCC in 2009, but no reply.

Is there someone who knows if it will happen, and if yes, maybe where, and
when ?

Thanks,

Olivier
