Hello, The Flaming Galahs have awoken from a cider enduced spring time haze to prepare for the sun soaked joy that is Mixed Tour. After having three teams in London's winter league, we seemed to have managed to somehow be short for two teams at Mixed Tour 1 and so we are on the hunt for some new players to ensure we can take our full contingent.
If you fancy playing with a club that enjoys winning but also places huge importance on "eat all you can buffets" then please let me know. Because we're so unoriginal we are doing the usual thing of asking for women mainly and we should have spaces for all abilities if you are teamless. Bloke wise we are a bit more specific. We want a slightly irate handler who likes to throw long range, eyes shut, hucks to longs who can run a lot but without much directional understanding. We preferably want a chunky antipodean male with a stupid accent if possible, to replace all of ours who keep retiring. Must be able to explain pointless and incomprehendable plays in a short time out, using 21 frisbees, a nalgene bottle and haribo star mix. We finished 17th and 32nd (1s and 2s) in 2007, rising to 13th at one tour when the moon and the sun met in Jupiter to create a ridiculous fluke and so should offer something for everyone. We get round water shortages by bringing cans of K cider and we try and not have arguments about ground strips because we don't know what one is. Thanks for your time.
