I'd like to second Oscar's thanks to Brighton Ultimate and Felix for putting on such a great Tour event!
Thanks for all the effort and work that went in behind the scenes to create an amazing weekend for all. The venue was great, all information given well in advance, fantastic schedule (I prefer back to back games with short byes!), shade tents for every well marked pitch, and cheap massages by the GB team masseuse! Thanks also to all the Brighton players who religiously filled pitch water between every game -- we all appreciated it. By far, this was the best Tour event I've played in the UK and notes should be taken by anyone who plans to put on a future one. GB Juniors, you've got big shoes to fill in 3 weeks time -- you can definitely do it! We seem to complain easily enough about the shortcomings of a tour, I think we should all make sure to take notice when one is done well too! Thank you, thank you - no complaints here. Nice venue, plentiful, regularly filled pitch water, a schedule that I can't argue with (we were seeded 32nd and finished 33rd) and they even managed to get the weather spot on. Potential improvements for next time: Toilets that flush The bar could be a bit nearer. The bar for meeting on Saturday night would be better if it didn't close at 9.30. Thanks again guys, I had an awesome time.
