Just to crystallise my point about the Spirit rules, I want to understand currently if there is a generally accepted way of interpreting the rules I would like to conduct a quick informal survey of opinion. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO REPLY TO ME, NOT BRITDISC as people will get upset if this turns into (even a few) very similar emails!
I'm interested how many people already play a certain way. Here is a scenario, what would you do in this situation this weekend? * "I am on the line with the disc, just outside the endzone. A handler cuts up the line and receives a short pass from me that they drop. Just before the pass is made, a call of pick is made from the back of the stack. None of the handlers had stopped playing, no-one else could possibly have made a play on the disc, I and my marker had not heard the call of pick". * If you were marking me what would you do? Do you claim the turnover? I dont know how to set up a poll, so haven't done, but please feel free to reply directly to me, just simply saying "turnover" or "not turnover". I'll collate the responses and send a message out tomorrow, as I would hate to bombard britdisc :-o Or feel free to ignore!
