Hi BD,

We've had a few queries about Guests and Rostering for Mixed Nationals
so I thought I'd clear up our stance on it. This does not affect the
rules for Open or Womens Nationals.

The rules state that no guests are allowed and no-one may roster after
MT3, however, this disadvantages Mixed clubs where players have to
register seperatly to Open / Womens Tour (as opposed to Open / Womens
combo teams playing Mixed who could technically play anyone from their
Open / Womens roster).

So to combat this we have agreed that:

No guests may play at Nationals. This means players who played the
Tour for another team or were previously unaffiliated with the team
they wish to play Nationals.
Anyone rostered before MT3 (whether they played or not) can play Nationals.
Players who missed the Tour, are not rostered with another club/team
but are affiliated with the club/team they wish to play Nationals for,
may roster between now and Nationals.
GB players may play for their club / team at Nationals (even GB Mixed
who played a Tour).

We'd like to also point out that spirit of the game applies not only
to your conduct on the pitch but also to the organisation of your
team. Roster rules are rarely enforced but this does not make them any
less important. They are however, under revue for next season to make
them less complicated and more relevant.

Regards,
Chris
