Are you are a woman living in and around the Midlands and would like to start
playing Ultimate Frisbee or already play but feel that you would benefit from
some additional coaching on your disc skills? Then read on!
Leamington Lemmings are holding a Beginners and Improvers Training Session for
Women.
When and Where:
Saturday 25th October
St Nicholas Park Leisure Centre (Main Hall), Warwick
1pm – 3pm
Cost: FREE
A bit of background:
You may have heard of the Leamington Lemmings before… we have been in existence
for just over a year now. In this year we have learnt some ultimate, made some
new friends and attended some really amazing weekend tournaments all around the
UK and even Europe !
Now we are starting something new - We want to play women's ultimate! Currently
we have a core of a few girls wanting to improve their skills and start playing
more regularly. We want to keep the focus on fun but want to be able to play
against other women's teams in the future.
Our focus for the start is on disc confidence. We want the women in our team to
be able to hold their own when handling, have confidence in making up field
passes and have the best forehands in the Midlands !
