Acceptable bids have been received for the following tournaments: Club open indoor nationals 24/25 January Club women's indoor nationals 24/25 January Club mixed indoor nationals 14/15 February The deadline for rival bids for these tournaments is now set at 22 October 2008. ****** We don't yet have a sufficient number of bids for indoor regionals (22/23 November). Get on the blower to your local sports centre and see if you can help out (and make some money, of course...). There are no set regions - anywhere in the country is invited to bid. ****** Keep up to date with the status of tournaments and their bids through the UKU website. For info about bidding on student tournaments, get in touch with the student committee] ****** If you're wondering what's going on with the outdoor tournament dates for next year, rest assured that we'll get them out as soon as we can. We had a nice shiny new season all agreed and ready to roll, but factors outside our control (uncertainty about dates for european tournaments, specifically) have knocked all that on the head. We're working very hard to resolve the situation.
