All UK Ultimate is delighted to announce that on 10th November 2008 we received confirmation that Ultimate has been officially "recognised" by UK Sport and the home country Sports Councils: Sport England, sportscotland, Sports Council Wales and Sport Northern Ireland.
This didn't work out for us the first time around - in the 90s - but last week we received confirmation that ultimate has now been officially recognised as a sporting activity. Our latest application for this was submitted in Sept 2007. Thanks to all those involved in this over the years.
