All LLL women will be holding four trials sessions on the following consecutive Saturday's 10am-1pm for those women interested in playing for the team in 2009:
- Sat 14th February - Sat 21st February - Sat 28th February - Sat 7th March The team will be looking to continue to raise our level of play and compete for the winners spot at both domestic and European tournaments The team will train regularly on Saturdays (with occasional training weekends at key points in the season and beaks weekends after busy periods) in Leeds. In 2009 the teams main aim will be to qualify for and compete for the title at XEUCF in September. The Team will play at Tom's Tourney in Brugge May 1-3rd as an earlier season warm up and then hopes to play a high level European tournament in the run up to XEUCF. The team is built of a foundation of regular training and a desire to improve as team and take the club to new heights. Longer term the club is aiming to qualify for WUCC in Prague 2010 and a top eight finish. *If you would like to attend trials please get in touch (** [email protected]* <[email protected]>*) and let us know you're coming* so we can plan the sessions. If there are any trial dates you cannot make please also let us know at this time. If you're not sure about coming along please feel free to give it a go as sessions are open to anyone and there's no commitment to try out for the team if you then decide it's not for you.
