'ello, Laydeez and Gents, this Saturday is a chance for you budding Scottish players (Girls and Boys) to hone your skills at Fusion's 2nd Bigger Skillz Day! Training will start at 1pm on the Meadows, and will be run again by members of Fusion, who are the top Open Scottish Ultimate team, based in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Those who came down last time made the most of it, undeterred by the bogging weather. This time, and with predicted friendlier weather, we'll be teaching you how to improve your throws, teach you to read the disc and defend hucks, help you get more blocks by working on your man marking, laying out, and cuts for the dump and handler. The end of training will give you a chance to put what you've learnt into practice with some games and a proper Goal-T tournament. There will also be experienced frisbee players and GB Internationals present to lend advice and help you work on any technical issues you might have. Later on, we're organizing a Saturday social, expect boozing, schmoozing and overexposure; Ali will provide details. Remember everyone is welcome, including those from other Unis, and it starts at 1pm, so pass the details on to those who might be interested. Bring a light and dark top, some water, a disc, and some Malt Loaf to keep you going.
