The averages for all teams across all of their games is shown below. Quite a few people have noted that this system is tricky to use if collecting scores to award a prize at the end of the tournament (unless you have a PC to hand). So at this tournament we took the responses from each team and awarded one vote to the opponent to which gave the highest score. The teams with the highest number of votes (Trigger Happy and Milton Keynes in this instance) won the Spirit prizes. Neither of those teams had the highest average by the WFDF method - and that is fine. The idea of this more detailed approach is to give teams more feedback on how they are doing. The table below shows the teams listed in descending order of average score received from their opponents. The second number is the average score that team gave to their opponents - which might help if you want to look at the numbers and think about your team's performance. Teams are welcome to approach the TD (me in this case) for more info on their own scores if they are interested. You can expect to see more of this scoresheet, and more SOTG data being published, in 2009. There are absolutely NO PLANS to use this information for anything other than enabling teams to provide each other with feedback in a consistent and well-defined framework. Naturally the hope is that teams with low scores will think about it, consider working out why, and what to do about it. And - given the nature of e-groups like Britdisc - I hope that everyone else will give those teams the time and respect to do that in private.
