Hi everyone, firstly apologies if you get this more than once, trying to get it out to as many people as possible. Details below of a one day charity fundraising tournament held in Birmingham in April to raise money for the MS Society.
Matt (the guy organising it all) is taking part in the Triple Threat Challenge which encompasses the London Marathon, cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats and then completing the Three Peaks Challenge - all in the space of a week. If successful, he will be the first person to complete the challenge and will have travelled around 1,700 miles in total in just 7 days. The purpose of this tour is not only to raise funds for the MS Society, but also to raise the profile of MS amongst the general public. The disease affects around 85,000 individuals in the UK alone, yet most people know nothing about it!
