Hello All,

Normally we shy away from putting emails onto public groups as we know it's
generally considered to be bad form. Unfortunately for all Ultimate
companies it's extremely difficult to find ways to advertise in a sport that
is inherently non-commercial in it's roots. It's a tough line to walk. In
this case we've decided that one simple email can help answer a lot of
questions that we've been receiving lately so here it goes in the most
unadvertisement-like way possible.

Lookfly have recently put up a new website at http://www.lookfly.com largely
thanks to the efforts of Tom Styles (www.tom-styles.co.uk). Although we had
to sacrifice some things (like our entire account database from the old
shop...ugh) we're really happy with it. We're also naturally curious about
reactions to some of the new features and would like to introduce them to
you. Hopefully some of you can try them out and let us know what you think.

The first is the Newsletter. As we said above we do our best to avoid
emailing team contacts or public groups directly as this is just SPAM. To
help avoid this we've added a few methods of passive communication of which
this is the first. We're going to start sending a periodic newsletter full
of general stuff that we've seen going on around the ultimate world that
pertains to us as both players and as an Ultimate company. If you're
interested then there's a sign-up on the new website in the top right of the
home page.

The next thing is the new Lookfly Calendar that is firmly placed on the
front right side of the website. It features dates and links to events
we'll be involved with along with an idea of how and why. Additionally
it'll have convenient dates and deadlines you might be wondering about.

Lastly, in keeping with trying to be riding the crest of technology type
stuff, we've setup a Twitter (www.twitter.com) account that can be seen at
http://www.twitter.com/lookfly. If you are edgey enough to be twittering
(...what is twittering? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twitter) then you can
actually follow us on there. Our Twitter account will be more of a "behind
the scenes" mini-blog, and will have you so in-the-know about what's going
on your friends will be shocked and amazed at your detailed knowledge of our
inner workings. We'll also be publishing the occasional discount code for
our website shop on there just to see if anybody actually is following
along.

So to wrap up, our apologies again for this email. Please feel free to
reply with feedback, praise or abuse but at the very least, go check out the
great job Tom did with our new site and give us a thumbs up/down and any
comments about it.

Cheers
Lookfly (Steve, Alli and Vince)
