BD, Tooting Tigers is London's newest competitive ultimate team. Formed from an offshoot of Clapham players, the team has been set up with the aim of competing in the A tour. Although we have our own team goals we will also learn from and feed the Clapham machine.
This will be achieved by: - regular Tigers training - regular training and scrimmages with/against Clapham - sharing training methods and tactics where appropriate Players get a shot at playing with Clapham abroad this year (Copenhagen and an American Tour). Also, a joint 2009/10 off season may mean Tigers is a great stepping stone to a 2010 Clapham season. We are looking for players to join who: - have a desire to play competitive ultimate - can commit to regular weekday training and monthly weekend training sessions in London - want to learn and improve - focus on team goals - are happy to do track and workout to get the most out of themselves The Tigers are already committed to this open season but need a few extra players to ensure things run smoothly. If you want to be a part of the team, please get in touch. You will be invited to weekly training and you should ideally be able to attend a team training session on 1st March.
