You may have seen that the bid distribution for xEUCF was finalised last week.
We have the following number of places per division: Open=6 Women=4 Mixed=4 Masters=1 Qualification is based on Tour 2008 results - so the following teams have a place. There will be a deadline announced soon about when these teams need to confirm. Open teams should remember that they also have to play at EUCR-West at the end of Aug/early Sept - final details still TBD. There's a reasonable chance this will happen in the UK but it is not certain. There is no EUCR for other divisions in 2009. Open: Chevron, Fire, Clapham, Fusion, Brighton, EMO Women: Iceni, Leeds, Swift, Nice Bristols Mixed: Thundering Herd, Brighton, Chevron, BAF Masters: Teams that want to take up this place should email <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] by FRIDAY 17th APRIL to express real interest. So far we've only had one clear expression of interest, so the assumption is that the place would be given to that team (MOB). If any of the teams listed above know immediately that they do not intend to take up their place PLEASE RESPOND ASAP so that we can give the place to the next team and they can start getting organised. Teams that were in the next few positions in Tour 2008 should probably also start considering whether they would take up a place if it were offered to them as we are expecting some of the teams that qualified will not take up their place.
