Apologies again to the rest of you who live nowehere near London and therefore are not interested. I just wanted to make sure we reached everyone who is not on the London group. Which seems like a lot of people after my previous pick up e mail! London Summer League is going to be bigger and better than ever this year. To do this we met up a few months ago on a rainy, dark evening and started the ball rolling to ensure we were ready to go in May. This will allow us to stretch the summer league over 14 weeks and will include the following. Up to 14 games. A Final's Evening played under floodlights which will include a Plate final, a Cup final and a mini tournament. A party afterwards with DJs, dancing, drinking and presentations. The usual Summer League format as well as the cup. It's not too late to enter if you are a team who missed the initial announcement on the London League yahoo group, but do be quick. So far we have 22 team entered. The format is mixed with at least 2 women on the line and games take place on Wednesday or Thursday evenings at Balham or Clissold Park. If you are a single player looking to play then we have a pick up team this year as well! We're especially keen to see beginners get involved so please get in touch even if you have no experience or have just started playing. If you have any questions, then drop me a line. Cheers, Dan.
