Announcing Midlands Summer League 2009
________________________________________

MSL'09 didn't seem to be happening, so I've picked it up. The idea is to still
keep it a fairly informal affair and most importantly keep it FREE!

After consultation with a few local sides/players, it's been decided to hold
the events on Wednesday evenings every two weeks at Newbold Comyn in Leamington
Spa.

The first event will be Wednesday 27th May.

Subsequent (provisional) dates are:
Weds 10th June
Weds 24th June
Weds 8th July
Weds 22nd July
Weds 12th August

The last date is after a three week gap so it occurs after Open Nationals
rather than before.

There's a facebook group here if that's your thing:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=2420717357

Games are likely to START at 7pm. Exactly details, including schedule, gender
mix, start times, to be confirmed.

Interested teams have a week to let me know that they want to attend the first
event, you need to email me by Thursday 21st May. Places are limited, be sure
to register your team ASAP. Teams are allowed to join up with other teams,
please ensure that if you enter a team, that you have enough players (inc.
women). Teams failing to attend an event that they've committed to will be
placed on the waiting list for subsequent events.

Teams are not required to attend every MSL event, as a result expect some
interesting schedules in an attempt to get everyone playing new teams. Results
will be posted to the Ladder League website plus the final standings will be
announced by the TD after the last event.

In short, email me before 21st May to enter a team. First MSL event is 27th May.

Cheers, Lucas.
