Hi everyone, Just to let everyone know that the fundraising hat tournament on June 21st on Tooting Bec Common is definitely going ahead with around 40 players already signed up. There's still of space for players to get involved with lots of pitch time, the information is below....
*Where*- Tooting Common *When*- 9am - 5pm Sunday 21st June (with a pre tournament party on Saturday 20th) *Price-* £10 *What do you get for your money?* A summers day of Ultimate, entry to the tournament party, a team t-shirt and a warm, fuzzy feeling knowing that you're helping children affected by HIV in Zambia. The profits from the tournament will go towards a nutrition intervention based in Zambia organised by the TROPical Gastroenterology And Nutrition Group (TROPGAN Group). I will be volunteering with the project for two months by helping to set up and run an intervention which will screen for HIV and malnutrition in children in a small community in Lusaka, Zambia.
