BD,

A few things.

1) A-tour 2 format.
4 pools of 4, 1-16, followed by 1-4 SF & F, 5-12 QF, SF & F, 13-16 SF & F
The women's format can't yet be finalised (because only half the
teams have entered at this stage), but will likely be a
super-peer-pools format for the top 4, with peer pools below that.
17th and downwards in open (the Birmingham tour) is likewise not
yet calculable.

2) Kit rules
A number of teams were observed to be in breach of the kit rules at Tour
One. Some did contact the UKU in advance to explain that they were suffering supplier trouble on kit that had already been ordered, but in fact these teams were not the worst. All teams will be expected to abide by the kit rules at Tour 2, or to demonstrate that kit has been delayed by circumstances beyond their control, otherwise penalties as set out in the rules will be applied.

3) Split Tour 2

The two tournaments at Brighton and Birmingham are to be treated, in terms
of the rules, as just one tournament. You cannot play at both; you cannot
guest for a team if your own team is playing at EITHER tour 2.

Clubs with multiple teams :- obviously, a player not picked for the 1st
team can play at the other tournament for the 2nds. But this rule should
be applied with spirit. If you're only playing seconds because you happen to be busy on the weekend of the A-tour tournament, then you're adversely affecting fair competition. You should pick your squads as if the tournament was happening all at the same time.

The only exception to the 'one-tournament' rule is that women may choose
to play in both the Women's division in Brighton and the lower open tour
in Birmingham. This is in order to offer more competitive opportunities
for women.
