If those teams could let us have them by Friday it means we can get everything finished off and packed away until next year. We would also like to thank everyone who helped us with the litter. The whole site was much cleaner this year than it has been previously and people just picking up a few bottles next to the pitch after their final game and around their tents saves us hours after everyone has gone home and is really appreciated. Short rant time: I think its time teams took responsibility for checking the side line for litter when you leave pitches. (I am sure some teams already do this). On a couple of pitches the number of disposable bottles that had been left by the side of pitches after games was disgusting. If you are taking along boxes of energy drinks for games you should really consider what you are going to do with all those empty bottles. I know handing out bin bags with captains packs has been tried in the past, but our experience is that this didn’t work. I think tournament organisers have a responsibility to dispose of rubbish for team but not for picking it up for them. We collected lots of lost property over the weekend mainly clothing, footwear, water bottles and discs, which was all passed for people go through at the next Tour event. As far as I am aware nothing of particular value was handed in. The venue has also found some lost property since too, so if you recognise any of this stuff let us know and we will try to collect and get it to the next tour event for you: Pair of black and white (flanker boots) Blue Adidas Cap Grey and Green cap Thanks to everyone who came, hope you all enjoyed it and see you all next year.
