*The Fee *

This year Cork Open has adopted a player fee financing scheme, rather than
the previous team fee method. All players will be required to pay €20 to
register and in return will be entitled to:

§ Breakfast on both mornings.

Each team will be given their own breakfast pack so as to prevent a
free for all.

Water will also be included as a part of the breakfast pack and the
containers can be refilled on site and kept for the duration of the day.

Hot drinks will also be available in the morning at a minimal
charge.

§ Individual catered lunches on both days.

Lunch will be provided by a catering company, supplying each player
with an individual lunch pack which will include a sandwich, drink, crisps,
fruit and chocolate. (Vegetarian/Coeliac lunch options can be requested in
advance).

There will also be a limited number of lunches available for
purchase for non-competing spectators.

§ Entry into 2 parties (Friday & Saturday night)

A welcoming party will be held on Friday night (venue to be
confirmed).

A party will also be held on Saturday night in Cyprus Avenue
(bar/nightclub) in the city centre.

Finger food will be provided at both parties.

§ Oh and finally all players will be entitled to at least 7 games of
fun competitive ultimate against a host of teams from near and far.

*The Accommodation *

UCC players will try to host as many players as possible in student
accommodation so as to reduce the costs for traveling teams. Due to this
free accommodation being limited, preference will be shown primarily to
teams traveling from further afield. There are many hostels and B&B’s in
Cork city and we will provide a list of these upon registration.

So, if you wish to a register yourself or your team and/or you have any
questions, please send us an e-mail at [email protected] as soon as
possible. The cut-off date for entries is September 14th. Details and
pictures of previous tournaments can be viewed on
