Midlands Uni Captains - please forward to your teams.

emo trainings will be open to anyone genuinely interested in playing
with us from Tuesday October 27th. We draw our player base from
around the Midlands, but anyone who is committed to attending
practices is welcome. University players and players from other clubs
who know the basics and can throw and catch are welcome to come along;
we can teach you all you need to know. Natural athletes are
particularly welcome regardless of experience. All you need is a
willingness to improve, good work ethic and a never-say-die attitude.

2009 saw our most successful domestic season so far* where emo
finished 6th on the UKU Tour, losing only to Clapham and Fire and with
a 100% record over Fusion, Tooting Tigers, Team Shark and Leeds (the
teams who finished 7-10). We also have a highly competitive second
team who finished 19th at Nationals and 21st overall. Led by two of
the GB World Games team, we work on improving your fundamentals,
tactical awareness, and fitness. emo has a great track record of
training great players, so if you have any aspiration to be better,
this is for you. We have off-season friendlies against the best teams
in the UK, and are also looking to take advantage of a place at WUCC
in Prague should one become available. If not, we will travel to
Europe to seek different competition.

emo train week nights in Leicester, and also have monthly weekend
trainings around the Midlands, so if you'll struggle to make week
nights this shouldn't prevent you joining us. We're also in
negotiations for a floodlit pitch in the West Midlands; if this would
be of interest, get in touch.
