Hello All, Thanks to all the teams for a great weekend. We will be running our beginners event and our experienced event once again next year a weekend before indoor regionals. Despite it being the "end" of the beginner’s season everyone made a huge effort with fancy dress at the party, some of the best I have ever seen!
Here are the results, and spirit. This weekend we used the BULA sprit score system which rates teams in a number of categories. Although time consuming, it gives a fair interpretation of spirit and also gives an opportunity for self reflection. The spirit scores are the first number in brackets then the following brackets contain the team’s lowest/highest scores. I have included this information because an average score can sometimes mislead. Teams can have bad and good games and be subject to opinion of the scoring team; no team should be tarred with the “average” brush. Congratulations to any team who scored a 15 or 16. If you have not come across the BULA system before; 15 would be the perfect score for a game, 16 would be if the team was considered to have had “better” spirit and scored excellent in every category.
