Just to remind people that the experienced men’s session, for people who have played over a year, is running this Saturday in Liverpool. (21st of November) The session will be focusing on specific aspects of Ultimate and giving a deeper, more advanced insight to them. Aspects such as; putting an affective mark on experienced throwers and affective body positioning while defending against a huck. All the drills and tutorials will assume at least a basic level of understanding. This session will hopefully give those who are interested in playing in the A tour, with Vision, a taster of the approach we take to develop our players to that standard. We are lucky enough to have players at Vision that have played for GB, others who have advanced experience in other sports, players from Chevron Action Flash and some very successful coaches. These are the types of players who will be leading the session this Saturday and imparting their knowledge to those who choose to participate. The session starts at 11am (boots on and faff finished before then) and ends at 3pm. You will need to bring a light and dark top, water, waterproofs, boots, etc. If you are coming to this event, let me know via email or phone (at the end of the email). Groups are encouraged to come along, we already have groups who have asked, but there is parking available pitch-side, changing facilities and showers at the Greenbank Centre.
