All, I need to apologise for a mistake with the 2009-10 UKU Indoor Rules of
Ultimate regarding time outs.

Rule 20.7 should NOT be included in the rules and I will make sure an
ammendment to this is posted on the UKU website as soon as possible.

I wanted to clarify before this weekends Uni Nationals that TEAMS CANNOT TAKE A
TIME OUT DURING A POINT. I know this caused some confusion at Indoor
Qualifiers last weekend and for that I am sorry.

Time Out rules you need to know:

20.2 Each team shall have one time out per game
20.4 A time out lasts 30 seconds
20.5 ONLY after the start of a point (i.e. when a point is scored) and prior to
the ensuing pull, either team captain may call a time out, with the exception
that no time out can be called in the final three minutes of a game.

I repeat that rule 20.7 should be ignored and teams cannot take a time out when
a point is in play.

Sorry for any confusion that this mistake may have made.

Si
