Hello :) Aber Zoo is an awesome two day indoor tournament taking place on the 13th/14th March in the beautiful coastal town of Aberystwyth, Wales. This year is the fifth Aber Zoo and we are hoping to make it even better than ever before.
The schedule is focused on giving players a great deal of pitch time. Each team can expect to play 9 games over the course of the weekend. Accommodation is included in the price and will consist of space in players' houses or a community hall. If any team prefers to arrange their own accommodation please would they let us know when they register. We are currently trying to arrange a Zoo fifth birthday party for the Saturday night, hopefully including free food for all. Those that have been to previous Zoos should be aware that due to changes in hiring policy for our Sport's Cage we will be playing one more game per team on the Saturday, finishing slightly later, and therefore everyone will get a nice lie-in on Sunday morning. The tournament will cost £120 per team and payment will be required once all spots are taken. Bank transfer is preferred this year, though cheques will be accepted on request. There are ten spots available for visiting teams. It will be first come, first served, though we will also establish a list of reserve teams.
