Women's Skills Day Hosted by Iceni Iceni will be hosting a series of three skills days for women of all experience levels over the next couple of months in Hyde Park. The sessions will be focussed on refining techniques rather than learning new ones, and will also cover how to practice and coach techniques and skills in the women's game. We'll be going over:
April 11: Running, jumping, catching (and how to do all three at once) April 25: Throwing, cutting and man-D May 9: Game techniques (laying out, breaking the force, pulling, etc) and lots of games Lots of Iceni players, past and present, will be turning out to help so there will be plenty of opportunity for 1:1 coaching with some of the best players in Europe. The days should be a great way to warm up for Women's Tour. Cost: £4/session or £10 for all three up front Where: Hyde park adjacent to the Albert Memorial (closest tube: Knightsbridge) 2:00-4:00pm What to bring: a disc, a white and a dark shirt, some water and boots All proceeds will be going towards fundraising for sending Iceni to Boston Invite in Massachusetts and World Clubs in Prague this year.
