This weekend saw the Riverside Leisure Centre in Exeter play host to the
inaugural High Octane. 16 teams battled through 11 games  each to decide who
would come out on top.
After tough semi finals against Shake & Bake D and Rawhyde, the final came
down to two Exeter teams as Uriel 1 took on Shake & Bake O with the uni side
coming out on top. Hull-based team Dixie Wrecked scooped up the plate in a
hotly-contested match against Picnic 2 while Kernow Inferno toppled Uriel 3
in the spoon final to snag their first piece of glassware.
Spirit was won by host side Shake & Bake D with Cool Cuttings being the
runners-up.

The final standings are as follows. Spirit scores are in brackets (mean
score out of 20):

MVP of the final was Sam "Pops/Mule" Newell from Uriel 1.

Thanks to everyone for coming and thanks to Afro Peat and Josh Meeklah for
helping out, Smiffy for his amazing schedule and to Will McDermid from Uriel
for entertaining everyone with some card tricks while Afro Peat worked out
sprit scores.
