Hi I'm a bit behind on this - but anyway - we're doing a new design for GB kits 2010. We'd like to use the basis of the idea for 2011-12 too; and if we get it really right, we might even look to keep some portions of it for the longer term.
So - here's a competition starting. We're looking for you to come up with ideas please - your chance to put hundreds of ultimate players in your design! The winner will be picked by a group from the UKU Board and the managers/coaches of the current GB Junior, U17 and U23 squads. We want it to be simple: a two-colour logo on a one-colour shirt. And, er, how can I put this? It needs to have a British-feel - not English. You can assume there will definitely be a white shirt. The other will be red or blue. Some GB squads have been known to get one of each. Please send designs back to me here. As I mentioned above, we're running late here - so there is no closing date - and we'll discuss suggestions/minor changes with people as ideas come in. The competition is open until we get a winner or we run out of time and use something my son brings home from nursery - which will be fine as long as you like a strange blobby-thing that is probably a dinosaur. If/when we get a winner we'll let everyone know of course.
