I'm aware that there were a number of problems delivering the event in Burton this weekend. I'd like to thank the people that have been in touch with very reasonably-worded feedback, and would like to say that its always helpful to receive constructive feedback about issues or problems that you saw at this or other UKU events. I will put time into understanding why things went so badly wrong this time around, and I'll do my best to provide responses - either generally to BD - or personally where possible. Some very quick comments I can provide right away: 1. The extra teams added after the initial schedule was released were not included in order to make extra money - but because actually they weren't in the schedule due to some "administrative confusion" between Ultivents and The Brown. 2. I appreciate that the schedule meant some teams had later starts than expected, and perhaps worse, had much later finishes than they might have expected. However - at the point I got my hands on the problem (just before midnight on Friday night) these were the only options that left us with sensible game lengths, format, and in particular a format where no team had to start earlier than the original schedule. I'm sorry if those changes had problems that I didn't spot at the time. I hope the problems didn't totally ruin your weekend's ultimate.
