You may (or may not) be aware that for the last year UKU employed Dan Berry as a part-time (2 days/week) development officer for London. This role was initially set up on the basis of coordinating the two London Leagues (LWL and LSL) and seeing what else we could get done on top of that.
Its important to note also that the bulk of the income to fund the role comes from the London Leagues. Dan has recently had to resign from the post as the company he set up last year has started to take up more and more of his time. So now we are looking for someone to take on the position going forwards - to start as soon as possible. Sometimes it is necessary to work in the evenings and at weekends - so there is an element of flexibility to how you do the time in any given week - but it wouldn't suit someone with an existing full-time job as in general we would expect to do at least 1 day per week in office/school hours. Some availability during school hours is really important. I'm also going to say right now its not the best paid job in London J - but on the flip-side it is one of a very small number of paid Ultimate-jobs in the World. And there is scope for expanding the hours by building up paid coaching work.
